Coordinator in the Pillar of Circular Economy

Is an Environmental Systems Engineer graduated from the National Polytechnic Institute and a specialist in Environmental and Ecological Economics at National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), with particular interest in sustainable development, in the clean energy sector and integral management of waste.

He was part of a research team in the agri-food sector to obtain inputs in the production of bioethanol from waste, in which he was involved from the development of the methodology to the obtaining and analysis of the inputs obtained.

He has experience mainly in the waste sector from the development of skills and knowledge in consulting and international cooperation organizations (GIZ) considering the social and economic aspects that influence a project, with a gender and social inclusion approach. He is certified in the design and facilitator of training courses (EC 301) by the Mexican National Council for Standardization and Certification of Labor Competencies (CONOCER-SEP).

Within SustainLuum he has worked in projects for the design and implementation of circular economy strategies, emissions inventories and in the identification of applicable legal requirements in the environmental field.

He has specialized in the implementation of the circular economy model and in the development of sustainable projects with a focus on social innovation; as well as technologies for the use of energy from waste (Waste to Energy) seeking to promote inclusion and diversity in work teams.
