She graduated from the Natural Resources Engineering career at the Chapingo Autonomous University and has a postgraduate degree in Rural Development from the Postgraduate College, from where she graduated with honorable mention.
She has more than 15 years of experience in the environmental sector. She has experience in the subject of climate change, specifically in adaptation issues; highlighting having been co-author of the Estrategia Nacional de Cambio Climático (2013).
Likewise, she has extensive experience in the gender issue and its links with sustainable development. She is a member of various publications about gender and has extensive experience in mainstreaming gender in various projects, evaluating public policies, preparing action plans, as well as in the construction of gender-sensitive indicators. Likewise, it is qualified to give training workshops on the gender perspective.
She also has experience in projects related to the landing of the 2030 Agenda in Mexico and its Sustainable Development Goals. In 2019 she received the award from the Federal Public Administration for the work ” Alimentar a México sin deforestar” that develops a proposal for the alignment of incentives between the agricultural sector and the environment.
