Is an agronomist from the Instituto Tecnológico de Monterrey (2009), with 7 years of experience in the agricultural area, in plant nutrition, hydroponics, entrepreneurship and research.
After completing her bachelor’s degree, Monica studied her master’s degree in plant science from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (2010-2012).
She developed an urban hydroponics project in CDMX and worked in rural development projects through information technologies. Later she worked in the sale and development of the fertilizer market in the Gulf and Southeast of Mexico in crops such as sugar cane, corn, soybeans, citrus, among others. She is Founder of the company, Agrofloresta US, focused on the commercialization of organic cocoa and vanilla to the U.S.A and Canada
