She is an Environmental Engineer with a Master in Quality, Safety and Environment at the Otto-von-Guericke University of Magdeburg Germany. She has more than 20 years of experience in management activities for sustainability strategies at the subnational level, mainly with municipal authorities in the areas of water treatment, comprehensive waste management, emissions inventories, and governance and social participation platforms. Her experience of more than 14 years of academic collaborative work in quality, safety and environmental technology projects with energy, food, automotive, real estate and public administration companies is relevant. As part of her multidisciplinary experience, she also has experience in coordinating teams in the field to carry out successful sampling campaigns for watersheds in the Bajío region and the Yucatán Peninsula.
